June 1st marks a very special day in Polish calendars. It is not just the beginning of summer, but it is also a day to celebrate children. This Children’s Day, Uber would like to support those children and mothers who have not had an easy life, who have escaped violence or overcome hardship and are now starting a new chapter in their lives.
Together with the Polish charity, House of Single Mothers, Uber Poland is organizing a donations collection in Warsaw, Łódź, Kraków, Katowice, Poznań, Wrocław, and Gdańsk, Katowice to help mothers and children in need.
What can you donate?
Any donation is appreciated, but the following items are especially appreciated:
- Baby feeding products (Bebilon 1,2,3 milk; Nan 1,2,3 milk);
- Food (long shelf-life products)
- Bedsheets, blankets, towels
- Pampers, 4, 5
- Toys for 2-10 years old kids (balls, dolls, LEGO…)
- Domestic detergents
- Clothes for kids between 2-10 years
Before your donation, please make sure that clothes and toys are clean and in good condition (with all buttons and working zippers). Please do not donate worn out clothes.
